Brierton Bunny Boarding for Rabbits & Guinea Pigs
It is a sad fact of life that countless animals find themselves in Rehoming Centres or worse still, simply abandoned at holiday times. With this in mind we decided to provide a small, friendly and select boarding service for rabbits & guinea pigs at very reasonable rates. With our knowledge and experience of animal health & husbandry, and our genuine commitment to promoting animal welfare, we aim to give you peace of mind by providing a safe, clean and calm environment for your pet to enjoy whilst you are away. Inspection is kindly invited by appointment only.
Accommodation; our welcome guests are housed in spacious hutches inside The Bunny Barn; a secure, weatherproof building with CCTV cameras,lighting, heating and cooling fan
s. We have hutches of various sizes and are able to accomodate single animals or bonded pairs.
Routine Care; toilet areas of hutches are given special attention and cleaned daily. A thorough cage clean including bowls and bottles is carried out every alternate day.
Exercise; we have several Indoor runs in The Bunny Barn. Outdoor runs are situated in Pandora's Garden, a sheltered and secluded area where our guests can enjoy lush green grass and clover. For health & safety reasons we do not allow guests to mix (with the exception of bonded pairs). We give individual exercise at least once daily or more depending 
on your pet's need for activity and stimulation.
Individual Attention; we know from experience that Rabbits & Guinea Pigs are sensitive to sudden change. You may rest assured that your pet will be given the same care and dedication as our own. Here at Brierton, there is no shortage of TLC.
Feeding; Due to the wide range of pelleted mixes on the market and the fact that a sudden change of dry feed could have serious consequences for our guests, we request that you please bring an adequate supply of your pet's usual brand. We will supply good quality Hay; Straw; Fresh Vegetables (some of which are organically grown by ourselves). Although we do not give our resident rabbits sugary/starchy treats or fruit because of it's acidic content, we are happy to provide these if they are a part of your pet's usual diet.

Boarding Rates
Single Rabbit - £2.50 per day/ Bonded Pair £3.50
Single guinea Pig - £2 per day/ Bonded Pair £3
Grooming - Rabbits & Guinea Pigs that require daily grooming at a rate of £1 per day

Terms & Conditions
To ensure the well being of our guests and residents, we must insist that all rabbits have been vaccinated against Myxomatosis and VHD (Viral Haemorraghic Disease). We will need to see a valid vaccination certificate before allowing any rabbit on to our premises. PLAN AHEAD - to the best of our knowledge these vaccinations cannot be given simultaneously, there must be a two week interval between injections and a further 4 weeks post vaccination for them to become fully effective. Please contact your Veterinary Surgery for advice.
We request that you inform us of any allergies/medical conditions of which we need to be aware.
We reserve the right to refuse any animal that is presenting signs of disease, illness, injury, pregnancy or undue aggression.
We reserve the right to seek veterinary advice/treatment should any animal present signs of disease, ilness, injury, pregnancy while in our care. You must pay any veterinary costs incurred on collection of your pet.
Sadly small animals can pass away very unexpectedly. In these unfortunate circumstances, we can assure you that we will have done everything to make your pet's final hours as comfortable as possible. We regret that we are unable to keep your pet on the premises but we will take him/her to our own Vet whom you may contact on your return.
In the event of non-collection on the agreed date, we will allow a further 7 days in which you can contact us. Extra days will be charged at the usual boarding rate to be paid in full on collection. If you do not contact us within 7 days of the agreed collection date, we reserve the right to take whatever action is required to rehome the animal.
